Greenfield is surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of two state parks. Paint Creek State Park which features a 1,148 acres lake, camping, horse trails, boating, and more.
Further south of Greenfield you will find Rocky Fort State Park. Popular with boaters and water skiers, the 2,080- acre lake of endless beauty on those long summer days.
Felson's park which is located on the outer edge of the Historic downtown is a great place to start your adventure on our nature trails alongside the waterway.
A short 8 minute drive from town you will also find a rare historic jewel. Built in the 1870's an deemed a historic site because of its well-preserved historic engineering. One of the few remaining operable covered bridges found in Ohio. Since its construction, it has carried Lower Twin Road over Buckskin Creek. The covered bridge has been an inspirational site for many photoshoots and muse for local artist. Located a short 10 minute drive from downtown Greenfield, Ohio you will find Buckeye Hills Country Club.
Golfers will enjoy the rolling hills and beauty of the course. Every golfer has their favorites. Many speak in glowing terms of the 308-yard No. 5, which allows golfers to tee off downhill onto a fairway with trees on either side. Our golf course offers a spectacular view anytime, but especially when the autumn leaves have changed colors. No. 7 features a dogleg to the right and a picturesque green nearly surrounded by trees. The course blends shorter par 3's with some challenging par 4's and 5's, including No. 16 at 574 yards and several in the high 400-yard category.
